Ingredients:

  • 1 measure of Warda medium semolina
  • 1 measure of sugar
  • 1 sachet of baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla aroma
  • 1 measure of toasted and ground almonds
  • 1 measure of melted butter
  • 1 measure of egg

Preparation of the syrup :
Mix all the ingredients and let cook over low heat.

Mix the semolina, sugar, baking powder, almonds, and vanilla flavoring, add the butter, and finally add the eggs.

Pour the mixture into a buttered pan and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C. Pour the cold syrup over the hot cake, then return it to the switched-off oven, leaving the oven door slightly open.
